On August 11, 2022, the 21st China International Power Equipment Generating Set Exhibition kicked off in Nanjing. The Cummins booth in Hall 5 showcased the cutting-edge technologies and cutting-edge products in the field of power equipment to the audience with a strong lineup of new products.
Two companies under the Cummins power business, Chongqing Cummins Engine ಕಂ., ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್. and Cummins Power Technology Co., ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್, jointly participated in the exhibition with 9 ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳು, including diesel engines, gas engines and non-road National IV emission products. ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, 6 power products are new products released for the first time.
ಕಮ್ಮಿನ್ಸ್ M15-G engine
Adopting a new bowl-shaped piston design, the M15-G engine has a higher compression ratio and a higher burst pressure, and the power of the suitable unit covers 280kWe~500kWe, which can meet the unassisted start at -25°C. The engine adopts an ultra-high pressure common rail fuel system, with an injection pressure of up to 2000bar, which improves the atomization level; precisely controls the injection timing and injection volume; the thermal efficiency of mass production is as high as 48%. The engine adopts the industry’s top NanoNet nano fuel filter and oil filter, which can meet the maintenance cycle of 500 ಗಂಟೆಗಳು, effectively protect the engine and reduce maintenance and fuel costs. By optimizing the design, the structure is made more compact and can be adapted to more flexible space arrangements.
Cummins K series gas engine
The K38N and K50N gas engine solutions released at this exhibition are undoubtedly a powerful addition to the K series gas engine product matrix. K series gas engine has high-precision electronic fuel control function, a wide range of calorific value adjustment, and rapid adjustment of air-fuel ratio. This series of gas turbines is equipped with a cloud intelligent management platform, providing digital solutions, which can realize functions such as efficient operation, preventive maintenance, and fast service. The thermal efficiency of up to 42%, the extremely high universal design, the excellent oil consumption level and the ten-year overhaul cycle greatly optimize the user’s total cost of ownership.
The continuous power of the K series gas turbine adaptor unit can reach 1000kWe, suitable for natural gas, biogas and other gas sources, and can provide efficient and reliable power generation solutions for oil and gas fields, farms, waste treatment plants and other places.
Cummins QSB series engine
Cummins QSB series adopts high pressure common rail technology, which has good power and economy. The cylinder block and cylinder head are designed with an integrated design, with about 40% fewer parts than similar engines, and the failure rate is greatly reduced. The high-strength cylinder block has stronger high pressure resistance, better reliability and longer service life. Advanced technologies such as new piston ring components and sealing gasket crimping can effectively reduce oil consumption. The electronic control system can intelligently switch the working mode according to the environment and operating conditions, There are three new products released in this QSB series, namely QSB3.9, QSB5.9 and QSB6.7.
Cummins QSB3.9
33 – 70 kWm @1500 r/min
36 – 80 kWm @1800 r/min
Cummins QSB5.9
75 – 110 kWm @1500 r/min
88 – 132 kWm @1800 r/min
Cummins QSB6.7
132 – 165kWm @1500 r/min
140 – 179kWm @1800 r/min
Cummins QSL8.9 engine
This product also adopts a high-pressure common rail fuel system, which has fast response, better power and fuel economy, lower noise, good cold start performance, and can be easily started in alpine areas. The three-stage combustion filter ensures a balanced particle dispersion level, protects the main components of the fuel system, prolongs the engine life, has strong fuel adaptability, and is suitable for various environments around the world; the overall modular design, the total number of parts is small, the failure rate is low, the structure is compact, easy to use maintenance. The high-efficiency carrier-integrated post-treatment system not only effectively reduces the initial installation cost, but also increases the system conversion rate by 90%, and saves about 20% of urea under the same nitrogen oxide conversion. Through efficient thermal management, lower fuel and urea consumption can be achieved Comprehensive economic cost.
In addition to the above-mentioned new products, several other exhibits on the Cummins booth are also very eye-catching. They are the QSK19 electronically controlled engine that meets Tier 4 final emissions in the United States, the QSK38 new platform electronically controlled engine jointly built by the Cummins global technical team and produced locally, and the Z The series power-up product QSZ13-G10, the birth of this product fills the gap of the Z series in this power segment.
